ATTENTION: Remote learning day on Friday, February 6th.

Friday, February 6, 2026:

CCPS will operate on a remote learning day for students and a remote workday for staff.
***Staff members may report to your school or worksite,on a delay, if you feel safe traveling. Buildings will be accessible beginning at 11:00 AM for staff, pending road conditions.***
Please prioritize your safety and use best judgment when making travel decisions.
All extracurricular activities can resume beginning Friday afternoon, as temperatures will remain above freezing through Saturday morning, and roads should be clear.

The morning of each remote learning day, your student’s teacher will post a Google Form attendance link on his or her ClassStory in ClassDojo and/or Google Classroom (2nd-5th grade). Please be sure to respond to this link each day so that your student is counted as present for each of the remote learning days.

Remote work was assigned and sent home with students last Friday. Students should complete a small set of assignments each day to stay on track, and at a pace that will keep the workload manageable. Should you have any questions about assignments or need any support from your student’s teacher, or another staff member, we will all be available through ClassDojo and email. Optional activities provided by our specials and PE teachers will be posted on our SchoolStory in ClassDojo each day as well. Completed assignments should return to school with your student on the next in-person instructional day.
